Bent Guitar Table 4

This bent guitar table is fashioned after a Gibson Flying V with a cherry sunburst finish for this table I used some beautifully figured bird’s eye maple. I cut and formed the body. I purchased a blank guitar neck and cut and formed it like a flying V neck. I used different coloured woods for the inlays that simulate the knobs, pickups and bridges.
I used bird’s eye maple for the legs and tapered them to give it nice proportions and form. I air brushed the body, legs and neck with black dye around the edges, and red dye in the middle. I finished it with multi coats of high gloss lacquer.
