Bent Guitar Table 3

For this table I fashioned it after a Fender Stratocaster with a blue burst finish. I used some beautifully figured bird’s eye curly maple. I laminated some mahogany and more maple to the bottom. I cut and formed the body. I purchased a nice guitar neck. I air brushed black dye around the edges, and blue dye in the middle. I chose matching dichroic and iridescent glass for the inlays. With the glass inlays I simulated the knobs, pick guard, pickups and bridges.
I used walnut for the legs, dyed it black, to simulate a leather strap lying on the floor. I finished it with multi coats of high gloss lacquer with silver sparkle in the first coat.
