Bent Guitar Table 1

For this table I decided to fashion it after a Gibson Les Paul with a sunburst finish. I bought some beautifully figured quilted maple. I laminated some walnut and more maple to the bottom. I cut and formed the body. I located a nice guitar neck. I decided to use red dye around the edges, and searched for the right dichroic and iridescent glass for the inlays. With the glass inlays I simulated the knobs, pick guard, pickups and bridges.
I used walnut for the legs and simulated a leather strap lying on the floor. I finished it with multi coats of high gloss lacquer.
